Zenovia Grant - Author Visit for World Book Day

On Thursday 23rd February, the Greenacre Sports Partnership hosted the Primary School Games Balance Bike Festival at Medway Park. Each team consisted of 10 children and a total of 10 schools participated during either the morning, or afternoon session.
Miss Hill at GSP had the pleasure of being a representative for New Road Primary School and very much enjoyed coaching and encouraging the reception & Y1 children throughout each of the 4 activities; The Baladrome, The Cyclobalance, The Race Circuit and The Obstacle Course. The children had to complete individual races aswell as team relay races and gave their absolute best efforts throughout the day!
A particular mention to Freddie who cheered for his team the whole afternoon and also did brilliantly around the courses, and Calli-Mae for completing each event without any stumble/wobble and sheer determination throughout.
When all results were added up by the fabulous GSP Leaders from Walderslade Girls and Greenacre Academy, New Road Primary School came 1st place within the afternoon session and 2nd place overall for the whole event!! A huge achievement and the team were ecstatic to bring back their silver medals!!
Here at GSP, we are super proud of all participants and congratulate New Road Primary School on their positive result!! Well done!! We look forward to working with you again at the next sporting event.
