Term 3 Topics

English

Using the Oak Academy lessons, we have been exploring different narratives and in particular Aladdin. There are short videos to follow and tasks linked to the story, such as orally retelling a story and describing a setting. 

Maths

We have been learning about Place Value and telling the Time to the minute. Our resources include the Oak Academy and the BBC bitesize videos as well as quizzes and worksheets for further practice. 

Science

In Science we have been learning about Rocks. The different types of rocks. How rocks can change and the rock cycle. 

History

This term we are learning about Prehistoric Britain. Our resources for this unit include the Oak Academy and BBC Bitesize videos and links. We will be learning how the earliest hunter-gatherers humans survived by learning new skills. 

Music

We have been learning about Pulse and Rhythm and explored 4 and 2 beats in a bar. Our resources are videos by Oak Academy. 

PSHE

This term we have been learning about our wonderful world and ways to preserve it for the future generations.

PE

There are so many ways to stay active. You can follow the workouts by the Body Coach, Joe Wicks available via his Youtube channel and also the This is PE website for different activities.
