Week 2: 02/03/2026

We practised making sparks to light a fire at Forest School. We labelled parts of the body. We learnt about art in Christianity, and coloured stained-glass windows. World Book Day Even the Hulk reads books! "Spider-Man, Spider-Man, does...jigsaws!" Some children built a zoo like in the story "The Mixed-Up Chameleon" by Eric Carle. We talked about halves and symmetry, so some children coloured symmetrical butterflies.

Week 1: 23.02.26

We tried to follow the instructions to make the plastic brick supermarket. It was very tricky, and needed some grown-up help. We decided to use the bricks to design our own supermarket. We had a cafe and a storage area. Giraffes were really happy to have the horse for two days. We enjoyed finding our school on Google Maps and exploring the area.
